He has been engaged in the clinical, teaching and research of neurology for 35 years, including 24 years at Baylor Medical College in the United States, and has made internationally recognized achievements in the clinical and research of neurodegenerative venereal diseases.

He has been engaged in clinical psychiatry for more than 30 years. Graduated from Sun Yat-sen Medical University in 1989 with a master's degree in medicine. He is good at clinical pharmacology and psychobiology of anxiety, depression and sleep disorders.

In 1992 and 1997, he was awarded the Nagagawa Medical Scholarship to study in Japan for the second time, and received a doctor's degree. Since 1999, he has served as a postdoctoral fellow of the Japan Association for the Advancement of Science, a researcher of the Osaka Institute of Life Sciences, and a deputy director of research.
